A joint meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Rabbani, the president of the university, the assistants and managers of the research field, and Engineer Yousefi Mehr, the head of the Mazandaran academic Jihad Organization and the accompanying delegation.
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Rabbani, The University president, while honoring the memory of Seyyed al-Shohada Khedmat, Hazrat Ayatollah Dr. Raisi and his companions, and welcoming the presence of the head of Mazandaran academic Jihad Organization and his accompanying delegation; presented a brief report on the quantitative and qualitative situation of the number of students, faculty members and educational fields of the university.
Dr. Rabbani, while expressing his satisfaction with the formation of joint cooperation between academic jihad and university institutions, especially the Azad education center, emphasized on advancing the high goals of the educational system in line with the strategic missions of the university.
In another part of this meeting, Engineer Yousefi Mehr expressed his satisfaction of attending The University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran and creating a suitable platform for joint cooperation between the parties, and introduced some of the capabilities of the Academic Jihad Organization.
Head of Mazandaran Academic Jihad Organization, referring to the history of this organization and the membership of 800 academic staff members in it, pointed to the four headings of research, culture, education and commercialization as the areas of activity of the organization and added:” Two universities of science and culture, science and art, three research institutes of Royan, Ibn Sina and humanities and social studies, and six higher education institutions can be counted among the most important capacities of Jihad.”
While emphasizing the activities of academic jihad as the driving force of universities, he continued: “Platforms such as holding specialized courses, facilitating the publication of university books, holding scientific camps and visiting achievements, awarding internationally valid certificates, creating scientific tourism centers, extensive cultural, social and Media activities, carrying out specialized research activities and manufacturing technical equipment in order to avoid the need for imports is one of the most important areas of Jihad activity, which in Mazandaran province, two branches of tourism and agriculture have been targeted, and recently, works have also been done in the field of sea-based economy.
In the end, while presenting opinions by those present at the meeting, the memorandum of cooperation with the approach of developing educational, research and cultural cooperation was signed by the parties. It is noted that this memorandum was concluded with the aim of carrying out research projects, holding conferences and seminars, providing consulting services, holding educational workshops, the possibility of using workshops, laboratories and scientific resources and facilitating scientific visits.
