Dr. Hassan Abedini, Head of the Presidency, Public Relations, and International Affairs of the University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran, announced the issuance of a permit for the enrollment of international students at the university and added: “After the evaluations conducted by the working group for the recruitment and admission of international students at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, the permit for the admission of international students in the approved fields and academic levels at The university of Science and Technology of Mazandaran has been issued.”
Dr. Abedini, while referring to the planning undertaken in the country's higher education regarding the attraction of international students to universities across the country, added: “According to a five-year plan, the goal is to attract 320,000 international students to universities across the country. Efforts have been made to create the necessary conditions for the admission of international students, ensuring that this important capacity is also established for the University of Science and Technology of Mazandaran.”
Emphasizing the necessity of developing international collaborations at the university, he continued: "One of the key indicators of internationalization is the attraction of foreign students, which can significantly impact the university's ranking and status." He stated at the end: “Based on the issued permit, this scientific center can attract a maximum of 93 international students across three levels: bachelor's, master's, and doctoral.”
